I received an item from a person who wanted a refund, from an item that i did not sell them.
The item is damaged but I did not sell them, I do not even have a sellers account and wondered what I should do? Should I just return it with an explanation that they were not sold by me. I do not know how they got my mailing address, very strange circumstances

Mentor2 years agoContact customer service and tell them a seller is abusing your personal information using your address for returns. The return label has a return ID - they can ID the seller from that.
The easiest way to do this is to post a private message on social media. www.facebook.com/ebay www.twitter.com/ebay
To speak to customer service, use the link on the left side of this page “have us call you†- https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4002&st=10
If you don't see 'have us call you' right under the chat link, click chat. Then at the bottom of the chat topics, click more, then click contact an agent.
The buyer will get their refund, since the package will show delivered to the address provided by the seller. It is probably an international seller that needs a US return address.
