i received an empty package.and requested to return the empty box by accident
ebay wants me to do a return. the seller says dont return the empty box.if i do i wont get the refund. i have till the 24th of july to return this mangled empty box. how can i get my money back

Return the box. If you *don't* return it, eBay won't refund you.
If the seller doesn't want the empty box back, he could refund you himself right now. Once he refunds you, you don't have to return it.
But you *must* return the empty box now or eBay won't protect you.
The seller may be stringing you along so you miss the deadline. Or maybe he doesn't understand the rules.
