I received a stolen Mac. I contacted law enforcement and gave them the stolen device. How do I get my money back?

It is becoming a real PITA to get my money back. I opened a case with PayPal. I opened a case with my credit card company. Credit card company says they won't give me my money back.

How did you find out the Mac was stolen? Often devices that are lost and reported to a Mfr. or insurance co. show up as "Lost or Stolen". As the last reply said because you went through paypal you lost your Money Back Guarantee protections. If PayPal turned down your refund request it was likely because they wanted you to return the item, but you had given it to the Police. You may still have recourse with your card provider, but will likely need to get a signed note from the police stating the item is in their possession and they have an ongoing investigation or proof of it actually having been a stolen item. Once you have that call the number on the back of your card, tell the rep what has happened and that you have written proof of the police being involved and ask how to get the info to them.
