I put up for sale my $4,000 drumset, local pickup, which eBay has up for 30 days. Facebook too?
I want to also put it up for sale on Facebook. If I don't get any eBay offers, can I change it to Auction for 10 days?
Thanks.

Mentor8 months agoIf you have it as a fixed listing right now, you have to end it, edit it, and then list it. You can't change a listing that is already live.

Mentor8 months agoCancelling a paid order also opens you up to negative feedback plus a defect on your account. That could very quickly end your seller career. List in one place and once the listing ends, list in the other place.

Mentor8 months ago@davejesusonian Yes you can change it to an auction format.
Be careful listing the same item on two different sites. You don't want to sell it on eBay and sell it on FB too.
If you sell it on it on eBay and it's no longer available because you sold it on FB then YOU have to refund the buyer out of your pocket and wait for the buyers refund to clear before you get the 4k back, that's a lot of money to "float" on a sale.
Also be aware that since the sale is over $1k eBay WILL hold your money for at least 30 days.

OP8 months agoThanks. I will not also put it for sale on Facebook.
I do want to change my listing to auction 7 or 10 days. How best to do that?
Thanks !

Mentor8 months ago@davejesusonian. If you are using Seller Hub you can select send to auction from the drop down menu next to the active listing. This is just a short cut to end and relist.
Or you end the listing, revise to Auction and then relist.
