i purchased item on eBay and a different item came.

Question

On March 4 I I ordered a necklace. A completely different necklace came. They said if I don't return it within three weeks I can't get a refund I did do that. Nobody sent me a return label so I had to pay for the return myself the seller said he would reimburse me. It's been four weeks I still haven't received the payment I paid to return the item. I tried to get in touch with eBay and nobody responds. Very uncool

If you received something that was not as shown in the listing, you have up to 30 days from delivery to open an Item Not as Described return request on eBay.

Once you do that, the Seller has three business days to respond with either a prepaid return label or a refund

If they do not, on the 4th day go back to your request and ask eBay to step in and force the refund.

If an item arrives but is not as described, then the buyer can file a "not as described" return within thirty days.

If the seller does not provide for tracked return shipping, refund the buyer directly or refund once tracking shows the item has been returned to the seller, after three business days, the buyer can ask eBay to step in and force a refund.
