I purchased an item that has not been shipped.
I purchased on January 4th a pair of Puma shoes
Order number: 13-14051-57777
The seller sent me a tracking number, but has not yet shipped the shoes. I have contacted the seller numerous times with one response saying they would update me. Nothing since. Now, eBay is saying I am not covered by the money-back guarantee... when I waited for the day the item was to be delivered (today). This feels like I have been taken advantage of... Why won't ebay step in and help here?

Mentor8 months agoWhat is the item number (not the Order number that you posted) ?
Go to your Purchase History and locate the purchased item. What is the last estimated delivery date? You have up to 30 days past that date in order to file an Item Not Received case, to get your money back. Once you file, the seller has 3 days to provide a tracking number that shows Delivered or issue a full refund. If the seller does neither, on day 4 you return to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, to force a refund.
If it is past the 30 day limit, you will need to log into Paypal and file an Item Not Received case there, if that is how you paid, as they allow up to 180 days from date of purchase to file, to get your money back.
If you paid with a credit card, file a charge back with your credit card issuer.
