I purchased an item on ebay commerce, paid with paypal, but it doesn't show in my order history. I have a transaction ID and an invoice ID and an order number. How can I find out what's going on?

Is it possible that you made the purchase as a guest?

Purchases made as a guest are separate from purchases made as a registered member. You will need to sign in with the email address you used as a guest along with the PASSCODE that ebay sent to you in an email.
