I purchased a new iPod in September 2025 with a 1 year warranty. It stopped working in December 2025
The iPod I purchased new in September 2025 had a 1-year warranty. It stopped functioning completely in December 2025 & I contacted the seller on 8th December 2025 to ask for a replacement or refund. The dialogue is still going on with ridiculous demands from the seller who wants me to send the iPod to a repair facility in China (& pay postage). I tried to fill in an online customs form for that process, but the Chinese authorities won't allow items to be delivered without a contact phone no. for the recipient & the seller sent me a message saying, "not allowed to send phone numbers". I have 3 full A4 pages of messages between myself & the seller, with the most outrageous demands from the seller. I had the iPod assessed locally by a technician who said it either had a dead battery or a faulty/damaged circuit board. These scenarios I imagined would be covered under a 1-year warranty.
