    I purchased a $500 video game

The game was listed as very good condition.  It was CIb it looked good to go.  the title description does not say read description.  Anyway, i got the disc and it was terrible disc rot and all.  The seller said that he put in the description that the game was disc rot and he is not liable.  Ebay ruled in my favor for a return.  I went to print a label today the label printed but ebay will not let me input tracking information.  Upon further investigation the seller open a case to dispute my victory or something.  I am afraid to ship the item back without being allowed to enter tracking information.  The case was closed and it's now open again?  Im so confused.  This guy has been a complete jerk.  Who hides in 3 paragraphs a tiny sentence that the game is jacked after stating how nice it is for 2 paragraphs.  Obviously someone trying to screw someone out of $500.  Anyway any advice.  This has been such a nightmare, this jerk ruined my Easter vacation.  I've thought about this everyday for the length of my stay.  I may never use ebay again.  What a hassle.  It maybe better to buy from local game stores at a premium.  Please advise how i should proceed.  Thank you very much!

If you opened a Return Request for an ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED and received an ebay link for a return label, which you printed, the tracking is already uploaded for you.  Use the label to ship the item back before the deadline.

After tracking shows the item is back with the seller, seller has three days to refund.  If not return to the Return Request and ask ebay to step in.  Do not closed or let the case expire without doing this.

i printed the return label but the tracking information is not showing up on ebay anywhere.  It is as if the item has not been initiated.  In the purchase tab it says return escalated.

also, i click the return details and it brings me to a page to print the label however when i print the label nothin changes.  No where does it say the new shipping number for the return.  How will i know if its returned if not tracked by ebay.

If you printed an ebay return label the tracking number will be automatically uploaded when the label is scanned at the post office.

If you want to be safe, write down the tracking number from the label.  Then hand the package to a clerk at the post office and let then scan it in and give you a receipt.
