I purchased 5 coins that turned out to be counterfeit
The seller contacted me and said that he/she/they whoever it is would give me a full refund directly and that I can keep the fake coins if I revise my negative feedback. I thought that was an illegal or not an Ebay policy.
Can anyone help me here?

Mentor10 months ago@paspet0 That is considered feedback extortion and not allowed. You should file a return request so that it goes on the sellers record. I see that the seller is located in China but shipped from the US according to the listing. The seller can NOT require you to return an item to China when shipped from the US.
The eBay Money Back Guarantee over rules the sellers return policy. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to file a not as described return request for most categories AND 3 days for Trading Cards.
Here's what you need to do:
Open a return with the reason doesn't match description or photos.

It is best not to say a lot on this form as it's read by AI on the first go around.
Also Report the message where the seller tried to do feedback extortion. Just click the 3 dots on the upper right of the message and then select report.

OP5 months agoSorry I didn't reply sooner, but I did do all that was required and got my money back from PayPal "Synchrony Bank" even after turning over the coins and all pertinent information to the U.S. Secret Service. Thanks for your help, stay safe on eBay.
