I placed an offer on an item not realizing it was empty boxes, can i retract the offer?

Not reading the details of a listing is not a valid reason to retract your offer. You would need to contact the seller and ask them to decline your offer.

OP3 years agoI did contact the seller, apologizing for my lack of attention to detail. They very graciously canceled the order. I am new to ebay purchasing, so this is a valuable lesson for future bidding. Thank for the response.
