was told to open request for refund. Did that. Now seller tells me to open request for return. Can only open one request. AI tells me eBay canâ€™t help me because the item was delivered to me. Yes, it was but it is not what I ordered. I am in a hard spot. Can a seller just send you the wrong item and you have to keep it?

You need to close the not received claim (you did receive an item, but it is wrong), wait a day and then open a return request. Be sure to select does not match description as the reason for return.

The seller has 3 business days to send you a return label or a refund. If he doesn't, or says he cannot send a label, go to your case and click 'ask us to step in'.
