I ordered an item on 7/28/2023. My charged card has paid already but the item hasn't even shipped

I ordered an item on 7/28/2023 and my card paid already even though the item hasn't even been shipped yet. I thought they weren't allowed to charge till after it was shipped?

The 28th was Friday. If the seller has a 1 day handling time, the item will ship today. If the seller has a 2 day handling time, it will ship on Tuesday. Go to your Purchase history, locate the item, and see when the estimated delivery date is. When the item is at least one day late, you can file an Item Not Received case to get your money back.
