I opened a return case and ebay never solved it
Summary: flammenmeer is frustrated with an unresolved eBay case regarding a missing item ordered on August 5th. They attempted to cancel the order, but the seller refused, prompting a dispute. Despite eBay's assurance that they stepped in to help, no resolution or options are visible, leaving flammenmeer concerned due to past unresolved disputes. lady_madonna suggested a procedure to escalate the issue, but the necessary option was unavailable.
Hello fellow humans as I am sick of this useless ai assistance, which is quite literally retarded.
I opened a missing item case, on August the 5th. So a while a go.
The item I ordered and paid for was never shipped out and never arrived. The seller never return a single message.
I tried canceling the order but the seller had the "no order cancelation accepted" thing going, so that was declined.
After, I simply opened a dispute about the item not arriving and for the last 6 days ebay has been showing me this message:
No options to move forward, appeal. Anything. How long could this take?? I mean seriously, what is there to investigate? And how do you deal with these kinds of issues?
I remember, back in the day, ebay was a solid, secure platform for online purchasing. And I recently lost a dispute to a dude who never delivered my package (left at the door) and there was no way to appeal that either. I am just a bit concerned I will message from ebay, in a few days, calming that after a detailed investigation they decided in the favor of the seller, because "eff you mr buyer" that's why (they literally don't share the reason for their decisions).
Please help, anyone.
Thanks
flammenmeer
OP3 weeks agoand according to the title of the "case details" it looks like Ebay did already step in? I don't see it though.

Mentor3 weeks agoIf you filed the Refund Request/Item Not Received, you can return to your request to ask Ebay to step in to help you:
Find the item in your Purchases.
Select See request details
Select Ask eBay to step in and help.
Select a reason from the dropdown menu, then select Confirm.
