I never received item from seller. I bought it before creating eBay login. Now ebay doesn't enable

ebay doesn't enable me to contact seller without first registering, but because I registered after I ordered that item, I can't do so without registering, but I am already registered and it kicks me out when I try to register, as my email address is already registered. I tried to have chat refer me to an agent but it won't. How can I speak to someone at ebay?

-First, if you purchased an item on eBay before you registered your account then you purchased as a Guest.

You are still covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee for 30 days from receipt: eBay Money Back Guarantee policy

The email you received should have a link for you and this Help page will assist you if you need to file a claim for non-receipt or eventual return: Buying as a guest | eBay

On a side note, Guest purchases cannot be merged with an eBay account nor can you leave Feedback on the transaction.

As to contacting eBay to work out your registration issues you may have better success using Social Media.

We recently learned that many of the links we post to Request a call back are now simply forwarding members to eBay's Customer Service "How can we help you today?" page (link below). On that page members have to complete numerous choices before being given ways to be in direct contact with eBay. Depending on the subject, representative availability and other factors requesting a call back may or may not be possible. Chat or an email may be provided. If you get a Chat box Type â€œAGENT in the box. You can also contact eBay through Social Media if you have accounts there.
