I never authorized selling the item
So I got an alert saying I never shipped the item I was selling and i never knew someone paid for it. How do I resolve this. I sold this item on Facebook and I forgot to take it off of here.

Mentor5 months ago1. Do not list your item in more than one place
2. Send the buyer a message letting them know what you did, expect negative feedback
3. Next cancel the item as out of stock, you get a defect for this.

Mentor5 months ago@rayesca61 You authorized the sale by listing the ASUS ROG Ally 120Hz 7'' for sale on eBay.
It is never a good idea to list items on two sites or you end up selling it twice.
What you have to do now is message the buyer and explain your mistake and apologize so hopefully they don't leave you a negative.
Next go to the sold item and select Cancel as Out Of Stock from the drop down menu next to the item on this page> https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active
The cancelation will start the refund process.
This is how refunds work>>
Refunds, even for order cancellations, come out of your available funds not pending or held. If you do not have available funds then eBay charges your back up payment method for selling costs.
Have you entered your backup payment method for selling costs here: https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list Select Manage under the method you want to use then select Preferred for selling costs. I use a credit card.
Once you issue the refund and the buyers funds are released from being held or finish processing then the buyers payment is released to you.

Mentor5 months agoYou authorized the sale when you listed the item on eBay. Since you no longer have the item you will need to cancel the purchase using the reason "Out of stock or damaged". This will give you a defect on your account for not completing the sale.
