I need to speak to a customer service person or security person about fraud
I agreed to a purchase price with a seller. The seller then changed the price on the item to reflect the agreement. When the item arrived it was not the item I agreed to buy, but a similar item with damage. Then the seller posted the item I agreed to buy. If you look at the timeline for the changes she made to the listing, it shows she changed the price as agreed, but it also shows she changed "details" in the listing. Two of the things changeable in a listing are the description itself and photos. I believe she changed both after I agreed to the bargained purchase price and the time she changed the price. eBay can corroborate this from looking at the timeline of the messages and the changes, but the AI message-r says there is nothing wrong. I buy expensive sheet music daily and I never buy a single sheet which is damaged like the one she shipped. How can I talk to a human being and explain the details of what I believe is FRAUD???

I am sorry that happened!
You should open a Return Request. The reason could be "Damaged or Defective Item", "Missing Parts & Pieces" OR "Different from what I ordered > Didn't Match Description" if the item you got was not what was shown and described.
You can open your return request here. Just click the photo and follow the instructions.

You will be able to print a label from here https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/returning-item/return-shipping?id=4066
-- You can check the status of your case here:

Do not close your return request until you either have your refund in hand or you have the replacement item. Do not close it because the seller promises you something.

OP4 months agoThank you for your suggestion but money isn't the issue. The seller offered to refund if I returned it, I declined because to me the issue is the fraudulent behavior I believe the seller pulled. eBay should check it out and do whatever they deem appropriate.

OP4 months agoAnd in case anyone. missed the reference, she had two of the same item...one perfect and one damaged. I did not know about the second item until I agreed to the purchase of what was listed, the perfect one. She made the changes, sent me the damaged one and days later posted the second item which was the perfect one I purchased. Because she sent me the damaged one I did not know existed, she could then post the undamaged item at a much higher price than the price she agreed to with me.

eBay tracks returns for Item Not As Described.
That's how you get eBay's attention, by opening a case
You can also report the seller here
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/resolving-issues-sellers/report-issue-seller?id=4022
Select:
1) Suspicious seller activity
2) Other
Explain in the box what happened.
