I NEED HELP, can’t get paid but eBay keeps taking money out of my bank account
Summary: robgun29 is experiencing issues switching their account to a business account on eBay. Despite providing ID verification through a driver's license and passport, the process is not working, and communication with eBay support has been unsuccessful. Additionally, they're facing financial issues as postage costs are withdrawn from their bank account, but sales proceeds are not being deposited, causing an overdraft. They are seeking advice on how to resolve these issues.
I NEED HELP! I tried to switch my account to a business account and it wanted a picture ID, which I put in a picture of my drivers license and that didn’t work so I sent a picture of my passport and it still doesn’t work. I’ve tried contacting eBay and I can’t get anyone to help or call me back. And when I sell something it takes the postage out of my bank account instead of my eBay account but won’t put money in my account!?!? Anyone know what to do? I’m stopping sending items sold because it’s putting my bank account in the negative.

Mentor1 week ago@robgun29 That's frustrating.
A business account does not increase seller limits. You only need a business account if you actually have a business license and are doing business as the named business.
ALL information must match exactly your eBay account registration information, ID, and SS#.
You will need to contact eBay customer service for assistance from #3
However I recommend checking a few things as eBay will NOT tell you what doesn't match for security reasons.
1. Verify that the name and address on your eBay account matches your brick and mortar checking account and government ID EXACTLY. I had to had my middle name to my eBay account so it would match my checking account and drivers license. You will need to provide your SS#. You can not use a PO box for your registration address as seller but you can use it for your ship from and to addresses.
2. Make sure the ACH routing number is the correct one to use for these type of deposits. Verify this with your bank.
3. Contact Customer service
Click this link> https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold?id=4814
Then Type Verify Checking account in the chat bot box on the lower right. (Do not add any additional information)
Then AGENT after the bot responds. You might have to repeat those steps.
