I may have been scammed
I am trying to purchase a vehicle that was supposed to be handled through eBay motors. I was asked to get eBay or Apple gift cards and send pictures to ebay-delivery@safe-payment-program.com.
Then I was asked for Insurance, and now I am being asked to pay Customs fees. Is this legit or have I been scammed?

OP2 years agoThank you so much for your help. I may have stopped them from getting any more of my money by going to Apple Customer Care.

This is a common scam, and you are dealing with a criminal who stole your money.
eBay has nothing to do with listings on other sites. If the item isn't listed on the eBay website and if you don't purchase it through the eBay listing, the transaction has nothing to do with eBay.
