I made a mistake in a listing title and it already has bids.
It is listing #227152433439, a Stanley scrub plane. I accidentally listed it as a No. 40 1/2 when it is actually a No. 40. I have sent notes to both of the top bidders and gotten no response from either. I also added a correcting text to the listing description, but with there already being bids on it, I cannot change the title. There are three days to go. Should I cancel or let it ride?

You can ADD an additional comment to the Description on an auction with bids but cannot change the other things that are already on the listing.
You can message each Bidder alerting them of the issue too, click on the Bid number and on the Bid history page you can click each ID and use the contact link in their Feedback profile to reach out to them.
You can also cancel any or all bids but ending the listing after that so you can Edit the title and Relist may cost you fees. The links below will be helpful depending on what you decide to do.
Cancel buyer's bids | eBay
Ending a listing | eBay
By adding an additional comment you are changing the original listing and Buyers can also Retract their bids per eBay's policy.
