I made a mistake and can't revise a listing. Cancel?
I made a mistake and didn't put a buy it now price. But, I can't revise a listing because I received bids. Should I cancel my listing? How much would I get penalized with a current $530 bid?

The buy it now price would have been removed when it received a bid, so it wouldn't have made a difference.

Mentor3 years agohI @coffeehobbies some options to consider:
-You can cancel bids on this page and will need all the Bidder IDs and the eBay item number: Cancel buyer's bids | eBay
If you do this I suggest you message each bidder and let them know why you are doing that. You can then End the listing and here is a page that explains when Fees would apply: Ending a listing | eBay
-While you cannot change an Auction once a bid has been placed you can ADD an Additional comment to the Description. Click the Edit link on the listing, scroll down to the "Additional description" typing field and add what you want. If you do this you may want to message each Bidder to alert them of the change.

Mentor3 years agoIn most categories, once an auction receives a valid bid, the buy-it-now option goes away, so even if you had included that option it would be gone now.
Cancelling an auction with valid bids without cause is not a good idea.
