If I make a bid on an item and it say I will be charged immediately, how do I choose the payment method?

yes, it is a Best Offer offer

Are you possibly referring to using the Best Offer option? If so, ebay is asking for your payment method if the seller accepts the offer, as you will then be immediately charged. I do not know if Paypal credit can be selected in this scenario.
