I lost over $450 -no item received and no recourse!!!
Summary: goldcanyonumc expressed frustration over not receiving a commercial coffee maker purchased on eBay for a church account, noting that the dispute window had closed. rfmtm and lady_madonna suggested contacting the payment processor or funding source to dispute the charge since eBay's 30-day dispute window had expired. goldcanyonumc thanked them and planned to follow their advice.
I am new to purchasing on ebay. Bought a commercial coffee maker for this church (church account) less than 2 months ago and have never heard anything from the seller. I initiated contact with the seller twice because that's what ebay directs you to do and now.... I just tried to report it never received and the window to do anything has closed. I feel like crying! This is the church's money and I'm so frustrated and in disbelief that Ebay won't do anything. It's still showing in my account as "awaiting shipment" so there's no dispute that I never received it. Any suggestions for what to do?

Mentor3 weeks agoIf the 30 day Money Back Guarantee window has closed, contact the funding source you used to pay for the item to dispute the charge.

OP3 weeks agoThank you. The seller went AWOL. No communication, nothing sent, no responses to my messages. I contacted the church credit card and disputed the charge and should be credited the amount back.

Mentor3 weeks agoYou must know the rules for any online venue before using it. Most all only allow 30 days for disputes like this. Fortunately your payment processor usually allows for a longer time limit so open a not received case through the payment processor you used to pay for the item. Do this now and follow all instructions carefully.
