I just spent an hour writing the description for my listing...
And it was removed automatically by eBay because I included a link to the product information page for the item in question (read: NOT A SALE PAGE) in the description.
And now, when I try to return to the listing so that I can correct it, it returns an error. Deleted. I have to write the thing all over again. All the effort I put in to write a thorough description of its condition and features because the AI description is flat-out useless.
This is such a disappointing, frustrating outcome. There is absolutely no benefit to not letting users rectify their own errors like this. I don't think eBay is going to do anything about it. I just want to vent.
