I just received an oversize charge on a shipment two months ago.
Box size was 70x15x6 inches. 32 lbs. I payed $73.06 from Ebay for label. Shipped from San Antonio Texas, It was supposed to go to Columbus Ohio area. Ups instead shipped it to Goodyear, AZ, then realized there mistake, turned around and sent it to Columbus. On trucks for 10 days. Two months later, UPS claims the package was 70x16x6 inches, probably getting smashed to death on double distance. Them they also claim the box weighed 41 lbs. Total **bleep**! It was a car bumper and cardboard box. Thats it. Today I weighed another bumper, the exact same and it weighed 23 lbs without a box. A cardboard box does not weigh 18 lbs! Checked both shipping scales and the are correct. the upcharge was an additional $87.15, plus the $73.06 already paid. I think they want more money to cover their shipping mistake. How can I contest this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Ron
