I haven't received my purchase or my money back.
I’m really worried about a situation that came up a few days ago. I purchased a camera lens worth USD 1,200, which, by mistake, was delivered to my previous home address. I now live just a few blocks away, and the package was indeed delivered there.
However, since the apartment now has new tenants, I don’t have access to the parcel lockers. FedEx never sent me any email with the access codes to open the lockers. At this point, neither the seller has access to the locker, nor do I as the former tenant, nor does the new tenant or the property owner, since the shipment is addressed to me.
They are not offering any help, and I’m afraid of losing both my purchase and my money. Has this ever happened to anyone? Do you have any recommendations on what I should do?

It shouldn't matter who the package is addressed to. The resident of the apartment the package was sent to gets notification of the delivery (unless he doesn't have his correct email or phone # on his lease). The property manager would also have access to the lockers.
Your best bet is to contact the new tenants and ask them to check their messages and you will likely need help from the property manager to do that.

Mentor8 months agoSo you saying no one access to the lockers? Not even the new tenants? Are these FedEx lockers? IF so you are going to have to take that up with FedEx. Or at least find out if FedEx will return it to the seller if not pickup by a certain date.
