I haven't been receiving "auction item ending soon" notifications
Even though I have my settings set to get "auction item ending soon" notifications from Ebay, I never receive any. Is there something else I need to do to receive the notifications?

Mentor1 week agoCheck your app notification settings if you use the app. In the Android version of the app there is a notification diagnostic tool to test notifications and point out any settings that might be interfering with notifications.
If you use a browser, check your Communication Preferences to make sure the settings are correct.

OP1 week ago · EditedI had done these things already and they are set as they should be. I used to always get notifications of auctions that were ending but haven't received any for quite some time now. I have to go to my Ebay watch list to see when an auction is ending and I don't always remember to do so for items I have saved in my watch list. I don't get notifications on either my browser or my phone app. Something changed somewhere along the way and I don't believe it was anything on my end as I haven't changed any settings at all. The check box for "Auction Item Ending Soon" in the communication preferences is checked but I still don't receive any notifications. I did however, receive an email notification that I had a reply (yours) to my question and I do receive notifications regarding lower price offers from sellers on items on my watch list so there is some line of communication that is working. I just don't get the auction ending soon notifications.

Mentor1 week agoTry unchecking the "auction item ending soon" box, save your preferences, sign out of eBay, then sign back in, check the box and save your preferences once more.

If that does work you may have to find another way to keep track of auctions that are ending. When I was following lots of auctions, I got in the habit of sorting my Watch List by "ending soonest" and checking at least a couple of times per day, then setting an alarm on my phone to remind me to check the auction shortly before it was due to end that day.

OP1 week agoIt didn't work. I've got a watched item expiring in about 4 hours and I haven't received a notification from Ebay.

Mentor1 week agoIn that case you cannot rely on notifications from eBay; find some other way to keep track of watched items.
