I havenâ€™t used my eBay account in a few years and want to start selling

However everytime I try to list an item it shows an error page howdo I resolve this?

If you are having problems listing your items you might need to do the following:

Update your account for managed payment.

Please follow these steps before contacting customer service.

1)Make sure that your name and address match your bank account exactly. Make sure you include your middle name or middle initial if your bank account also has it. You can not use a PO box for registration but you can use it for the ship from and to addresses. Verify that here in account settings: https://accountsettings.ebay.com/profile

2)Enter your backup payment method for selling costs here: https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list Select Manage under the method you want to use then select Preferred for selling costs.

3)Switch to the New Listing Tool.
If you see the options :
add 24 photos
or a short video
then you are using the new listing tool

To find it you must look:
- Upper right corner of your draft on a PC desktop for a gear or dots , if you see this then you have the option to change listing tools

You can sign up for Seller Hub
-Go to https://www.ebay.com/sh/landing
-You will need to click start using Seller Hub
-Then you can open your draft:
https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/drafts

- Create a new listing by going here:
https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active
Click create listing button near the top( right hand-side of the page )

If you still having problems then you will need to contact eBay so you can report a technical issue with your account

Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page for contact options available to you.
If you are using a cell phone turn off the spam filter or it may block the call back

You can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media.

You leave a message, and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible.
You can private message them and explain your situation.
