I have just been scammed by a seller
I purchased a Starlink from a seller on eBay. I went to activated it only to discover that it was linked to a previous account. The seller claims it was never used in the description.
Upon finding out that it was connected to another account I reached out to the buyer several times. They acknowledged my season greetings but refused to acknowledge my request several times for assistance.
I started the return in eBay then they came back to apologize saying they didn’t see the many messages sent to help resolve the issue. They told me to reach out to starlink
i dis only to be advised by Starlink that the system was not eligible for transfer at this time without going into full details concerning the previous owner and that they recommend that I seek full refund from the seller.
i sent the seller the screen shot of what Starlink customer service reported. Af tree r 3-4 days of me being persistent and the seller recusing to answer me they came back today to say they reached out to have trouble shoot and have the matter resolved. They closed the return and started that they stand by their original decisions of not accepting returns.
I paid almost $300.00 and paid another $230.00 to have shipped to the Caribbean.
how do I get my funds back
and eBay has advised that is a final decision.
please someone kindly advise me this is so wrong

Mentor1 year agoIt sounds like you had the item shipped to a freight forwarder, since you mentioned you are in the Bahamas. ebay does not cover items that are reshipped. I suggest you contact Paypal, if that is how you paid, or your credit card issuer if that is how you paid.
