Problem Description/Diagnosis
Issue: Customer presented device with swollen battery, states device was recently purchased online.
Steps to Reproduce: Ran MRI- no issues found
I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED ON EBAY...Apple store inspected iPhone and came to this conclusion. Cosmetic Condition: Battery is swollen, display is lifting
Proposed Resolution: Service was denied, as the device is non-genuine and does not match the device description. Device that was presented came in a box that was non-genuine and gave false information about the device. Device that was presented does not match the official description. Device serial number belongs to a red iPhone 7 Plus, and the device that was presented is silver. Rear camera glass is third-parts. Charging port is third-party. Advised customer to reach out to seller regarding this issue
Resolution: Service Denied
Reason: Unauthorized Modification...
I STARTED HAVING ISSUES A MONTH AFTER OWING THE PHONE; THEY WANTED TO SEND ME A PLUG! IT GOT SO BAD I TOOK IT IN TO THE APPLE STORE FOR A DIAGNOSIS. I WAS SOLD A FAKE IPHONE ADVERTSED AS "NEW IS A BOX"...I WANT MY MONEY BACK FOR FRAUD...DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!
