I have an odd situation.
My buyer in California only has 1 feedback. They bought and paid for a vintage Vornado fan. I packaged it up and shipped it using FedEx. The problem is, now they say they can't sign for it and they want me to drop the signature request and to redirect it somewhere else. At this point, I am out the almost $100 it cost me to ship it, the fan is somewhere in the system, and I don't like what they are requesting. What should I expect in this situation?

It didn't need to be signed for and there was nothing mentioned in the listing about having to sign for it.
If they can't get it, it'll be returned to you, then you can refund the buyer.

Mentor3 years agoI would politely tell the buyer that you are not able to redirect the package - it can only be sent to the address they provided through checkout. I would also tell them that the signature is required for insurance purposes (even if it isn’t).
Have you contacted Fedex to see if you can recall the package?
