    I have an item listed for sale, and I see a message that says “1 other person has this in their cart
                     

    What does it mean when it says 1 other person has this item in their cart on an item I have listed for sale?

    It means someone is thinking about buying it enough to have put it in their cart. They are not committed to the purchase until they go to checkout to pay for it.
