I have a return due to the product not fitting even though the part number is the same.

I need to return this item. The problem is the seller has reduced the price by a significant amount so my return is way less than the item minus shipping, how is this possible? How do I get it corrected. I can not get around the looping Bot to be able to actually speak with someone.

Your return amount would be based on what you paid for the item. If the Seller now has that item on sale, that should not affect your return. However, if the Seller does not offer returns for fit, the Seller has the option to decline the return.

Also, if the Seller does offer returns and the returned item is in a different condition than as sent, some Sellers can deduct up to 50% of the refund for loss of value.

Have you already returned the item? If so, did the Seller deduct part of the refund and give a reason? If you returned the item and received a smaller refund, you could go back to your return request on eBay and ask eBay to step in and review the transaction.
