I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT THE FEEDBACK REMOVAL POLICY FOR SELLERS
I had a buyer file an item not received claim, the buyer says his shipment was never received. So I immediately checked the USPS tracking, and the delivery confirmation shows the shipment was delivered yesterday. So I uploaded tracking info to the dispute for review, and the case was closed in favor of the seller. Well, it turns out the buyer also left negative feedback, which I requested to have removed, and it was denied. So I contacted eBay for an explanation on why my request was denied, and they claim the buyer's feedback doesn't violate eBay policy, so it can't be removed. EBAY COMMITS A VIOLATION OF ITS OWN POLICY BY REFUSING A NEGATIVE FEEDBACK REMOVAL REQUEST THAT IN FACT DOES VIOLATE EBAY'S FEEDBACK POLICY UNDER THE SELLER PROTECTION AREA THAT EBAY WILL REMOVE NEUTRAL OR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK WHEN THE BUYER IS REFERRING TO A DELIVERY ISSUE WHERE TRACKING INFO SHOWS THAT THE DELIVERY OR HANDLING TIME EXPECTATIONS WERE MET. SO I FILE AN APPEAL AND THAT ALSO GETS DENIED BECAUSE THE FEEDBACK ISN'T RECENT AND THE SYSTEM WON'T ALLOW THE REMOVAL OF THE FEEDBACK EVEN THOUGH IT DOES VIOLATE EBAY POLICY!!! What's with eBay and their **bleep** excuses and refusing to uphold & enforce its very own policies! Has anyone else experienced eBay's questionable behavior when contacting support for assistance with a buyer problem?

Mentor11 months agoYour two negative feedback was received 12 months ago. If you wish to request feedback removal it has to be done within 30 days of receiving it. Those 2 feedbacks will soon fall off and then you will be back at 100%.
