I have a customer who wants to do a local pick up but wants to come try the item on first. Got flagd
I tried to give her my # so I could tell her how to get here so she can try on the item before purchasing. I said we had to do this by ebay rules. My message was flagged & not sent to customer
I looked up how to do a local pick up sale first but it didn't mention the customer wanting to look first. How do I handle this ? Thank you for any info you might have .

Mentor1 year agoIf you want to do a local pickup, you can REVISE the listing and add Local Pickup as an option. The buyer would have to purchase the item, pay for it, and then you can make arrangements for the buyer to meet and try on the item. If satisfied, then buyer takes the item. If not satisfied, you can then go to the transaction and file a cancellation and refund the buyer. Now relist the item.

OP1 year agoI already had local pick listed as an option. The customer wanted to try it on BEFORE she decided to purchase . I ended posing the sale .

Mentor1 year agoThe buyer has to first make the purchase, selecting Local Pickup, and pay for it. Then she can swing by and try it on. If she decides not to take the item, you file a Cancellation and refund her in full.
