I have a buying limit on my account, however this is my first ever purchase on Ebay.
The item is around $450, however I'm not sure why I have a limit when I've never bought or bid?

All accounts have limits; new accounts have lower limits. Over time, as you use your account to make successful purchases, your limit will increase.

Have you verified your identity or added a payment method to your account? Doing those things are ways to quickly increase your limit.

OP2 years agoThank you for answering! Yes, I have verified my identity and added a payment method. So, if I am understanding correctly, I cannot purchase the item until I've purchased other, less expensive items?
