< 259.75 charge on my credit card from Dec 12 that I do not recognize >
I assume you associate the charge with eBay because of the description provided on your statement, meager though it is. Check your Purchase History for any purchase at all, that happened Dec 12 or a short time earlier.
Your feedback shows two feedbacks you Received as a Buyer within the last month. Unfortunately, eBay has discontinued including any information useful to third parties, like the price or the item number. However, when you're logged in, you can see that information in your own feedback.
Those feedbacks' comments are not unique, so I can't relate them to your account by cross-referencing to the seller's.
When you make a purchase do you pay directly using the card or do you pay with PayPal? If you use PayPal, you can log in to your PayPal account and check in the Activity section.
If no charge appears in your eBay account, the charge may have been made using a different eBay account.
Keep in mind that transaction amounts may not match if a coupon, credit, gift card or voucher was used to pay a portion of the total, or if the transaction involved a user in another country.
eBay can only help with charges that appear in your own eBay account.
Contact your card issuer for details of the transaction or to dispute it and get a new card number issued.
