I had the shipping time wrong on my listing

Question

I made it really clear in the title and the body of my listing that I was selling a steelbook PRE SALE with the date to be announced soon. I FORGOT to mark out my delivery time at the very bottom and it defaulted to my regular 3 day shipping. Two buyers have already purchased.

How can I adjust this now? As I said, they knew they were purchasing something in advance, but eBay will want to know why I don't ship this week...

There is no way to change this once the transaction/payment has been made. You are locked into that three days.

If you cannot ship, you will need to cancel citing â€œout of stock/damagedâ€ as the reason.

Do not be tempted by â€œbuyer requestedâ€ or â€œproblem with addressâ€ as this is not true, is an eBay policy violation, and may open you up to negative feedback from disappointed buyers. Iâ€™ve found that reaching out, explaining, and being honest about the goof goes a long way with a buyer.
