If you found an Ebay phone number by using a Google search, you were calling a scammer that will try to steal your money.
Ebay Customer Service does not have a phone number. You have to use the "Help & Contact" feature at the top of the page and request a call back from Ebay.

It had nothing to do with Ebay and all you can do is file a police report.
How did you contact the person?
