I got scammed on a pre-ordered item
Hey,
I purchased a Final Mouse keyboard last year. It was still in development but final mouse sold reservations and I purchased from Adonxs. Final Mouse kept blunting the shipping date off till finally in April 2026 they had officially shipped all keyboards. The seller kept me strung along every month I asked for an update till finally he showed his true colors (I have all the chatlogs) last week basically telling me I'm not getting anything. He totally scammed me what kind of thievery is this? How does ebay even allow listings like this and then protect the seller, I cant even leave feedback on his page to warn others!!! Ebay isn't even letting me send them ANYTHING about this so now theres a scammer on the loose on Ebay... I've defenintly learned my lesson but why cant I even report this to ebay?

Mentor4 months ago@ze51969 I am so sorry that happened. eBay does have a policy that states sellers must ship within 40 days of the date of sale for ALL presale items.
eBay doesn't know that the seller is not following policy unless the listing is reported.
You MUST file a not received refund request no later than 30 days after the last estimated delivery date stated in your purchase history. NOT what the seller says in the description, that doesn't count.
The eBay Money Back Guarantee does have a 30 day limit and an agent can not extend it for you or they would have to extend it for everyone.
Once the eBay MBG expires then you have to file a chargeback with your payment method, they have deadlines too though.
