I got scammed and need help!
I bought and item that is not what the listing says it is and i started the return process, but the seller is giving me a bogus address in China that UPS won't accept and the on the box it has a address from Tennessee! And I'm finding it impossible to get help through eBay... Can anyone help ?

OP3 years agook, so to open INAD do i need to cancel the return request? The other thing is, now that i have googled this seller its clear it's a scam, the return address is some random company in Louisville KY that has nothing to do with this product. ugh...

Mentor3 years agoWhen you filed the Returns Request, what reason did you give? Item Not as Described is one of the reasons.
If the seller is from another country, s/he will have to send enough funds to cover return shipping, because the seller cannot provide a shipping label good in this country, or refund in full without having you return the item. If the seller does neither, click on the link to Ask ebay to step in, when it shows up in the case. You stated the item was shipped from KY. Then you are ony required to ship the item back to KY.

I take it along with the chinese address, the seller did not offer to pay for the return shipping, which is their responsibility. That is spelled out in the Money Back Guarantee policy which should be on the listing page.

If you have only sent the seller a return request, you should now open an Item Not As Described (INAD) dispute. The seller will have 3 days to reply by sending you a return shipping label. If they cannot because they are actually located in China, ask ebay to step in, on day 4. eBay will either provide a label, or issue a refund without you having to return the item.
