I got notice of sale on large pallet of shelving weighs 3-400#.

Question

Buyer paid eBay $660 price + $127 for shipping. Thought I’d only offered local pickup, but program must have inserted $127., which is way low. I’m guessing shipping cross country is over $600. For such large item. Can I cancel sale without penalty?

For items over 150 pounds, you need to either select Local Pickup and/or Freight. For freight, the buyer can do some research and select who s/he wants to use, or you can make some suggestions.

If you decide you wish to Cancel, you will have to select Out of stock, because the other 2 reasons do not apply. Yes, you will receive a defect for the cancellation, but if you do not do it often, it should not have a great affect on your seller metrics.
