I got a new phone and my ebay account didn’t transfer. How do I recover my old accout?

My ebay account for 20 years disappeared when I got a new phone. How can I recover it?

It sounds like you have two eBay accounts.

----First, write down the User name and password for the phone account you have now, and the phone account you had before BOTH accounts. ----
(your phone may be a phone number + password)

A) Log out of the currect phone log-in here:

Go to your phone. Open the app
Click the My eBay Icon at the bottom
Click Settings at the top
Scroll down to "sign out" in the first section

You are now logged out of the "new phone" account

Click the My eBay Icon at the bottom
It will ask you to log in with an email or user name (or apple/Facebook/google)

==>> log in with the OLD account information- (your eBay User Name that you used for 20 years.)
Likely "Use email and User name"

Enter the user name and password from the computer log in
(don't use any default login saved on your phone)

Now you can save this NEW login to your phone.
