You do not need to contact eBay. Open a return request and choose the reason, item not as described, not authentic.

If the item you received was not as described in the original listing, you can request a return or a refund.

Here’s what you can do:

Go to your Purchases and select the item.
Use the option to return the item for a refund.
You might also get an offer for a partial refund and keep the item, or a replacement instead.
The seller may ask for more details via messages.

It’s allowed to claim the item was not as described if it truly did not match the description in the listing. Ensure you follow the return policy and return the original item in its original condition if required.
