I dropped off a package to be delivered 9 days ago and it still hasnâ€™t been shipped out . I donâ€™t want to refund yet because I would lose out on the item and the money if the item still gets shipped late, what should I do?

It won't help you now, but in the future, it's important that you get a tracking scan when you drop it off. If you don't, the first scan may not be until delivery.

If your buyer opened a case for an Item Not Received, you'll need to refund. Otherwise, you'll receive a defect on your seller rating and eBay will refund the buyer from your account anyway. If the package is later delivered, hopefully the buyer will be willing to repay or return the item.
