I don’t see how anyone sells items on this or any other platform. How do y’all do it?
I have been in sales since the 80s, i’ve sold everything from formal clothing to cars to forklifts to houses. My best year was 7 million and I have never experience the challenges. I have experienced the past couple of weeks. You would think if someone buys something online, they would be prepared for the experience, The buyer is purchasing from an individual, not an expert, not the manufacturer just another consumer yet the interrogation about the item for sale is as if the seller had entered a contest for The conception. of a new product, designing manufacturing from scratch.. A. product Which is a standard only found at the highest level of production, such as Tiffany’s, Omega, McLaren. And then the buyer would like to pay 50, 60, maybe 70% of its true value yet treat the seller as if they’re paying 120% of the value and they are doing you a favor or even entertaining the thought of purchasing. This has to be the most what do you call a person who thinks they deserve the best of everything just because of who they are. The entitlement the narcissism this has been the most horrific experience I have had the misfortune of being a part of next time I have the thought of selling something. I’m going to take it out in the backyard, burn it and then punch myself in the face
has anyone else had this experience or is it just me? I tried to sell something that is a masterpiece of design and production, and all I’ve heard is complaining. I would understand this in the show rooms of New York or Paris, but someone sitting in their underwear, scratching their balls on their couch and then **bleep**ing about the quality of a handcrafted musical instrument. This has to be a joke, where is the camera, this must be a prank.
an instrument I paid $3900 for 10yrs ago which is now worth anywhere between 5000 and 10,000 depending on who you ask, I sell for $3800 minus fees so I end up losing $1000 and someone sees imperfections which are described with words. I have a feeling this is the life of these snobs, sitting on their couches being EBay snobs finding fault in items that aren’t supposed to be perfect. They’re imperfection is their beauty & there value, dumb***!
