I did not receive my package
I have always used a freight forwarder and never had any issue with the service, actually I already received a package bought in the same date. My freight forwarder sent me a letter saying that the tracking number in my buying order belongs to someone else, I sent the letter to ebay and they said that they can not refund my money bla bla bla, it looks to me that they are supporting this kind of behavior in their platform and Im very dissappointed.

·6 months agoUnfortunately, when you use a forwarding service, you lose access to the eBay Money Back Guarantee. That’s why they’re telling you they can’t help you. The seller is only responsible for the package arriving at the freight forwarder.

OP6 months agoI understand that but ebay is not making any effort at least. They did not even investigate the tracking number to check that it is fraudulent.

Some Sellers us tracking number scams and if they saw you were from another country they may have decided to do that. Keep in mind MOST Sellers do not engage in this type of activity. One scam is that the Seller ships an item to a nearby address and all eBay sees is that the item was delivered through Tracking. It is then up to the Buyer to prove it was NOT delivered to their address. Your challenge from Panama will be trying to get the forwarder's local Post Office to issue a document stating the item was not delivered to the correct address. Below is what we tell US Buyers to do if they file a claim that they did not receive their item:
******************************************************************
Unfortunately, you have fallen prey to the False tracking number scam. You filed a claim through eBay that you did not receive the item but since tracking showed it was delivered, they ruled against you.
You need to get a document from the Post Office stating that the package was not delivered to your address and then contact eBay with that information to prove delivery confirmation was to a different address than yours. Make sure you tell eBay it was a False tracking number scam.
We recently learned that many of the links we post to Request a call back are now simply forwarding members to eBay's Customer Service "How can we help you today?" page (link below). On that page members have to complete numerous choices before being given ways to be in direct contact with eBay. Depending on the subject, representative availability and other factors requesting a call back may or may not be possible. Chat or an email may be provided. If you get a Chat box Type “AGENT in the box. You can also contact eBay through Social Media if you have accounts there
-Contacting eBay via Social Media:
Contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.

If for some reason eBay does not refund you then you will have to pursue a dispute with your card company or PayPal. Just know that if you do that eBay will not support you at all if you run into issues with the dispute.
Make sure you report the Seller: Report an issue with a seller | eBay

Sorry you had that issue on one transaction. We often get Sellers complaining here about foreign Buyers using forwarding companies because what happens is that the Seller is charged an additional International fee on the sale. They used to be able to block foreign funding sources but that changed when eBay switched from PayPal to Adyen as the payment processor.
I have only had one issue with selling to foreign Buyers using forwarding companies but fortunately I was able to work it out and avoid losing $ 210.00 on the transaction.
