I did not receive my order.
I ordered a large toolbox from Urban Stock Depot. I was given a tracking number. I was told the package was delivered but it did not come. I contacted the seller but he gave me the run around of "wait a few days". Meanwhile he opened a case with Ebay. The case was closed by Ebay before the date he told me to wait until.
It took a while but I got proof from the logistics company that a package with the tracking number I was given was delivered to another address, but it only weighed 2 pounds. My package would have weighed 100 pounds. The seller gave me the wrong tracking number. He has not shipped me a toolbox. Nor has he given me a refund. Because he opened a case with Ebay and it was closed so early, I cannot appeal. Ebay believed him when he said it was delivered.
I believe the seller gave me the wrong tracking number. Or maybe he never sent the toolbox. He took my $625.40 and I have nothing to show for it.
What can I do?

We see this False Tracking number scam repeated over and over on eBay. It is a catch 22 for them. They are a 3rd party looking in from the outside and can only work on electronic information like the tracking number showing it was delivered. They never see the Seller shipping the package, only the tracking record that it shipped and was delivered.

-At this point eBay will be of little use so you will have to pursue a dispute with your funding source, PayPal. credit card, etc.
-Really sorry you ran into a dishonest Seller who intentionally is trying to steal money from you.
