I decided I did not want to buy after seller accepted my lower than asked price

Question

I asked seller to accept a lower price. They accepted and made me that offer. I did more in-depth measuring and realized the item is a bit too big for what I was wanting to buy it for. I know what I have done is rude, and I am sorry for that, but am I obligated to follow through and purchase the item that does not fit the need I have??

You need to ask the seller to cancel your purchase. If he is nice, he will cancel as buyer requested. If not, he will wait 4 days and cancel as unpaid. 1 unpaid item won’t hurt you, but 2 gets you blocked by many sellers.
