I contacted what appears to be a fraud seller - Ebay sent them my cell, email and address in messag

I contacted someone selling a Mac. They have not feedback as a seller but have 63 listed transactions.

When I messaged them, Ebay added my home, my cell, my email in the message. I have a copy of this email. Ebay is not answering support at 1pm on California. How do I get them to stop sharing my private info with sellers!!!

Ebay is not responding as I try to get help. When I asked the seller how they can sell all these Mac's so cheap this is what they said.

"I understand your concern. This is a direct private sale via classified listing, so thereâ€™s no public transaction history on eBay. The prices may seem low because I avoid eBay fees and sell directly via PayPal invoice, which keeps the cost down."

The seller's message says it is a classified ad listing. There are different rules for these listings. The purchase is not made on eBay and the buyer and seller negotiate directly. They are the same as placing a classified ad in a newspaper.

When you contact a seller you will see their contact information and your contact information is sent to the seller.

To see is something is listed as a classified ad you will see classified ad under the price on the search results page and will see a message about it under the price on the listing as well.
